Ambistryn-S.75 Injection

Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection is used in the treatment of tuberculosis.

In Bacterial infection

Ambistryn-S.75 treats the bacterial infection it was prescribed for by killing the bacteria or stopping them multiplying. Finishing the course makes sure the infection does not return.

In Gut infection

Ambistryn-S.75 clears the bacteria or other organisms causing diarrhoea, abdominal pain and bloating, so the gut settles.

In Skin infection

Ambistryn-S.75 treats infected skin and soft tissue, bringing down redness, swelling and pain.

In Dental infection

Ambistryn-S.75 treats infections of the teeth and gums, easing the pain and swelling until your dentist can deal with the cause.

AlcoholUNSAFE

Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.

PregnancyUNSAFE

Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br/>There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingSAFE

Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

DrivingCAUTION

May cause drowsiness or affect your concentration. Do not drive until you know how it affects you.

KidneyCAUTION

Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

LiverCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ambistryn-S 0.75 gm Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
