How Aripel-5 Tablet works

Aripel Tablet is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by changing the action of certain chemical messengers in the brain that affect thoughts.

How to take Aripel-5 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aripel Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Aripel Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Your doctor will assess suitability if you have heart disease, Parkinson's disease or dementia.

Your doctor may advise you to take it in the morning if you experience any difficulty in sleeping. It may increase your blood sugar and cholesterol. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and monitor your blood sugar and cholesterol levels regularly. Aripel Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Aripel Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes, unusual movements or develop suicidal thoughts.
