Amoxicillin 500 mg + Clavulanic acid 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate) tablet
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and certain bone/joint infections.
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, protecting amoxicillin from breakdown and broadening its spectrum.
Oral tablet; take exactly as prescribed. Usually taken at the start of a meal/with food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with water; complete the full course even if you feel better.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Arkoxyclav 625 MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Prescription-only antibiotic; use only for bacterial infections. Do not use if allergic to penicillins/cephalosporins or if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate–associated jaundice/hepatitis. Seek urgent care for signs of severe allergy (swelling, breathing difficulty) or severe skin reactions. Use with caution in liver disease, kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed), infectious mononucleosis (higher risk of rash), and history of antibiotic-associated colitis; stop and consult doctor if severe/persistent diarrhoea occurs.
