How Atosoft Cream works

Acts as an emollient that hydrates the outer layer of skin and helps restore the skin barrier. It reduces transepidermal water loss, softens scaling and improves dryness and itching with regular use.

How to take Atosoft Cream

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin 1–3 times daily or as directed by a physician; massage gently until absorbed. Use regularly, especially after bathing; avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Atosoft as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Atosoft than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Atosoft Cream

Most side effects of Atosoft are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• Mild burning or stinging
• itching
• redness
• irritation
• rash

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

For external use only. Do not apply on broken/infected skin unless advised. Discontinue and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or allergic reaction occurs. Keep away from eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. If used in infants/children with eczema, use under medical advice.

Interactions with other medicines

No known significant drug interactions when used as a topical moisturizer; if using other topical medicines, apply at different times or as advised to avoid dilution.

How to store Atosoft Cream

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep container tightly closed; protect from moisture.
