Diphenhydramine hydrochloride + Ammonium chloride + Sodium citrate + Menthol (strengths vary by batch/label; refer pack for exact mg per 5 ml)
Symptomatic relief of cough associated with common cold/allergy, throat irritation, and chest congestion with mucus; helps relieve runny nose and sneezing due to allergy/cold.
Diphenhydramine is a first‑generation H1 antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms and has a cough-suppressant/sedative effect. Ammonium chloride acts as an expectorant to loosen mucus, sodium citrate helps reduce throat irritation by alkalinising secretions, and menthol provides a cooling, soothing effect.
Oral syrup. Shake well before use and measure with a dosing cup/spoon. Take as advised by a doctor; commonly taken 2–3 times daily. Can be taken with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, take after food. Avoid driving/operating machinery due to drowsiness.
