Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser contains Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, PEG-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Tocopherol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance/Parfum (exact INCI may vary by batch/region). It belongs to the Non-medicated syndet-based facial cleanser (surfactant cleanser) class of medicines.
Uses mild surfactants to lift and wash away impurities and sebum without harsh stripping. Humectants and skin-conditioning agents (e.g., glycerin, panthenol/niacinamide) help support hydration and barrier comfort.
For external use. Wet face, pump cleanser into hands, gently massage over face for 20–30 seconds and rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice daily; avoid contact with eyes. Suitable for face and neck.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
