Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Moisturizer contains Skin barrier repair moisturizer; exact actives vary by pack (often includes ceramides/filaggrin-supporting moisturizers and humectants; exact composition not confirmed). It belongs to the Topical emollient and barrier repair moisturizer class of medicines.
Barrier repair moisturizers replenish skin lipids and improve hydration, reducing transepidermal water loss. This helps calm dryness-related itching and supports restoration of the protective skin barrier in eczema-prone skin.
For external use only. Apply generously to affected areas 1-2 times daily or as needed, especially after bathing. Can be used as maintenance alongside prescribed eczema treatments.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Moisturizer as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Moisturizer than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
