Depiclenz Cream is used for for management of hyperpigmentation such as melasma, dark spots, post-acne marks and uneven skin tone (depigmenting/skin lightening use).
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Depigmenting creams typically reduce the formation of melanin in the skin and help fade existing pigment deposits over time. They may also promote gentle skin renewal to improve tone and appearance.
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected areas once daily (preferably at night) or as directed by a dermatologist. Use sunscreen during daytime and avoid contact with eyes, lips and broken/irritated skin.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Depiclenz as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Depiclenz than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Depiclenz are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | Consult doctor |

| Alcohol | No known interaction |
| Habit forming | No |
Do not use on broken skin or near eyes/mucosa. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergy occurs. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure as depigmenting agents can increase photosensitivity. Use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
Avoid combining with other irritating topical agents (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, strong exfoliants, alcohol-based products) unless advised; may increase irritation.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Keep cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
