How Dermoys Cream works

As an emollient cream, it forms a protective layer over the skin and helps reduce transepidermal water loss. This improves skin hydration, restores the skin barrier and relieves dryness and itching.

How to take Dermoys Cream

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin 1–3 times daily or as needed; massage gently until absorbed. Preferably use after bathing and at bedtime; can be used with or without food (not applicable).

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Dermoys as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Dermoys than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Dermoys Cream

Most side effects of Dermoys are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• itching
• rash
• irritation

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken/deeply cracked skin unless advised by a doctor. Discontinue and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or allergy occurs. Use in children, pregnancy or breastfeeding on small areas only unless advised; if breastfeeding, avoid applying on/near nipples. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a dermatologist.

Interactions with other medicines

No significant systemic drug interactions expected with topical emollients; if using other topical medicines, apply at different times (e.g., 15–30 minutes apart) to avoid dilution.

How to store Dermoys Cream

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed and protected from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
