How Diazen works

Diazen GM 50mg/750mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diacerein, Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride and Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, which treats osteoarthritis. Diacerein and Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators while Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is a nutritional supplement. Together, they help in the building of cartilage (the soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. MSM additionally lowers inflammation (swelling) of the joints.

How to take Diazen

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diazen GM 50mg/750mg/250mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Diazen GM 50mg/750mg/250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Diazen than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Most side effects of Diazen are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
