Acton-OR Tablet SR is safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.
Acton-OR Tablet SR is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Acton-OR Tablet SR is used for pain relief and fever. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, joint pain, muscle pain or dental pain.
Acton-OR Tablet SR is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acton-OR Tablet SR is to be taken with food.

Acton-OR Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Acton-OR Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>However, the use of Acton-OR Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
No common side effects seen
Never exceed the daily maximum printed on the pack. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver, and the damage can be silent for a day or two before it becomes serious. Check every other medicine you are taking. Paracetamol is in a very large number of cold, flu and pain combinations, and the doses add together. If you drink alcohol regularly, or have liver disease, ask your doctor what daily limit is safe for you. See a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, or pain more than five.
Regular alcohol use increases the risk of liver injury. Tell your doctor if you are on warfarin — regular high-dose paracetamol can affect it.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
