G-Cin Tablet contains Gemifloxacin (320mg).
G-Cin Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Most side effects of G-Cin are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | G-Cin Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. |

| Liver | G-Cin Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of G-Cin Tablet is recommended. |

Store G-Cin below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
