Cetilistat (120mg)
Obesave 120 mg Tablet is used for obesity.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Obesave 120 mg Tablet contains Cetilistat (120mg).
Obesity
Obesave Tablet is a lipase inhibitor that works by blocking the enzymes responsible for breaking down dietary fats in the intestines. This prevents fat from being absorbed into the body and allows it to be excreted through the stools. By reducing fat absorption, Obesave Tablet helps in weight management, which can improve metabolic control in individuals with obesity, particularly those with type 2 diabetes.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Obesave Tablet may be taken with or without food.

If you miss a dose of Obesave Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Obesave than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
