How Olobeat Eye Drops works

Antiallergic eye drops typically work by blocking histamine (H1) receptors and/or stabilizing mast cells in the eye. This reduces release and action of allergy mediators, relieving itching, redness and tearing.

How to take Olobeat Eye Drops

For ophthalmic use only. Instill the number of drops and frequency as prescribed by a doctor. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip, and remove contact lenses before instillation (reinsert after 10–15 minutes if advised).

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Olobeat as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Olobeat than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Olobeat Eye Drops

Most side effects of Olobeat are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient. Avoid contamination—do not touch dropper tip to any surface. Stop use and consult a doctor if eye pain, vision changes, severe redness, swelling or discharge occurs. Use with caution in pregnancy/breastfeeding and in children unless prescribed. If using other eye medicines, keep a 5–10 minute gap.

How to store Olobeat Eye Drops

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Discard within 4 weeks of opening or as per label.
