Pramirol 1 Tablet works by mimicking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger that is needed to control movement in the brain.

How to take Pramirol 1 mg

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pramirol 1 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Pramirol 1 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Interactions with other medicines

Anti-emetics such as metoclopramide and some antipsychotics can worsen Parkinson's symptoms. High-protein meals can reduce the absorption of levodopa — ask your doctor about timing.

When you first start taking Pramirol 1 Tablet, it may cause sudden drop in your blood pressure when you change positions. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Talk to your doctor in case you develop hallucinations or other changes in your behavior. Inform your doctor if you develop compulsive behaviors that are hard to control, such as binge eating, gambling, spending money, and sexual urges.
