Quetiapine 50 mg (as quetiapine fumarate) tablet

Uses of Qutip 50MG Tab

Treatment of schizophrenia; treatment of bipolar disorder (mania and depression); adjunct treatment of major depressive disorder (as prescribed).

• •Helps control hallucinations and delusions in schizophrenia
• •Reduces manic symptoms and stabilizes mood in bipolar disorder
• •Helps improve depressive symptoms in bipolar depression (as prescribed)
• •May improve sleep due to sedative effect (clinician-directed)

How it works

Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic that modulates neurotransmitters in the brain. It blocks serotonin (5‑HT2A) and dopamine (D2) receptors, helping reduce psychotic symptoms and stabilize mood. It also has antihistaminic activity, which can cause sedation.

Directions for use

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed. Usually taken once or twice daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow with water; do not crush/chew unless advised. Avoid अचानक stopping; dose is typically titrated up/down by the doctor.
