Topical treatment of acne (pimples), including inflammatory acne lesions.
Acne gels typically work by reducing acne-causing bacteria on the skin, decreasing inflammation, and/or normalizing blocked pores to prevent formation of comedones. The exact mechanism depends on the active ingredients present in the formulation.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to acne-affected skin as directed by a doctor (commonly once daily or as prescribed). Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after application.
