Uses of Rivotril 0.5MG Tab 15S

Treatment of seizure disorders (epilepsy) including absence, myoclonic and akinetic seizures; adjunct therapy in Lennox-Gastaut syndrome; management of panic disorder/anxiety as prescribed.

How it works

Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine that enhances the effect of GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain. This reduces abnormal electrical activity, producing anticonvulsant and anxiolytic effects.

Directions for use

Oral tablet: take exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually in divided doses. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly; tapering is required. Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsy.
