Ambrozed D Syrup
Viswasoorya Pharmaceuticals - Syrup - 100 ml
Prescription required
Sucralyn O 100 ml is used for relief of acidity, heartburn, gastritis and stomach/duodenal ulcer symptoms; used as a gastric mucosal protectant/antacid syrup (exact indication depends on label).
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated August 2026
Sucralfate-based gastric protectants form a viscous protective barrier over ulcerated/inflamed mucosa and shield it from acid and pepsin, promoting healing. If antacid components are present, they neutralize excess stomach acid and reduce irritation.
Oral suspension/syrup. Shake well before use. Commonly taken on an empty stomach (e.g., 1 hour before meals and at bedtime) as advised by the doctor. Keep a gap of at least 2 hours from other medicines unless prescribed otherwise.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Sucralyn O as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Sucralyn O than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Sucralyn O are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
