Use with caution in kidney disease (risk of aluminium accumulation with sucralfate-containing products) and in patients on dialysis. May reduce absorption of many oral medicines—separate dosing by at least 2 hours. If symptoms persist/worsen, or there is black stools, vomiting blood, unexplained weight loss, seek medical advice.
