Uses of Thyronorm 112MG Tab

Treatment of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), replacement/suppressive therapy in goitre, management of thyroid hormone deficiency states; TSH suppression in certain thyroid cancer patients (as advised by specialist)

How it works

Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4), a natural thyroid hormone. It is converted to T3 in the body and restores normal thyroid hormone levels, helping regulate metabolism, energy, heart rate and body temperature.

Directions for use

Take orally once daily exactly as prescribed, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach (30–60 minutes before breakfast) with water. Take at the same time each day; avoid taking with calcium/iron/antacids within 4 hours. Do not stop or change dose without doctor advice; dose is adjusted based on TSH/T4 tests.
