How Tiaprex 100 works

TIAprex 100mg Tablet is a selective dopamine D2 and D3 receptor antagonist. Modulating (D2 & D3) dopaminergic activity, it helps reduce positive symptoms of schizophrenia, such as hallucinations and delusions, and may also alleviate agitation and aggression in manic states. Unlike some other antipsychotics, TIAprex 100mg Tablet has a lower affinity for other neurotransmitter receptors, which may contribute to its reduced risk of extrapyramidal side effects (EPS) and sedation.

How to take Tiaprex 100

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. TIAprex 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of TIAprex 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
