Composition of Zeroscab Cream

Zeroscab Cream contains Permethrin. It belongs to the Topical scabicide class of medicines.

Uses of Zeroscab Cream

Used for the treatment of scabies (skin infestation caused by mites) and to relieve associated itching.

Key benefits

  • Treats scabies infestation
  • Kills scabies mites and eggs
  • Reduces itching and skin irritation
  • Helps prevent spread/reinfestation when used correctly

How Zeroscab Cream works

Scabicidal creams kill scabies mites and their eggs on the skin. This helps clear the infestation and reduces itching and skin irritation over time.

How to take Zeroscab Cream

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin as directed by a doctor; in scabies, the medicine is typically applied over the whole body from neck down (including folds) and left on for the prescribed duration before washing off. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin; wash hands after use unless hands are treated.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Apply it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next application, skip the missed one — applying extra does not make up for it.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from skin use; swallowing the preparation may cause stomach upset. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of Zeroscab Cream

Most side effects of Zeroscab are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

  • Burning or stinging at application site
  • itching
  • redness
  • dryness
  • skin irritation
  • rash

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
