All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Avoid use in pregnancy (especially 2nd/3rd trimester) due to risk of fetal harm. Use caution in kidney disease, renal artery stenosis, dehydration/low salt states, severe liver impairment, and in elderly due to hypotension risk. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function (creatinine) and serum potassium, especially after starting or dose changes. Do not use together with aliskiren in diabetes; caution with ACE inhibitors/dual RAAS blockade. Seek medical help for severe dizziness/fainting, swelling/angioedema, or signs of high potassium (weakness, palpitations).
