Acnacalm Gentle Cleanser is a medicine. It is used for gentle facial cleanser for daily cleansing of acne-prone, oily, sensitive skin, helps remove excess oil, dirt and and impurities without over-drying. It belongs to the group of medicines called Topical cleanser (non-medicated surfactant-based cleanser).
For external use only. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Acnacalm Gentle Cleanser are mild dryness, skin irritation, redness and itching. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Acnacalm Gentle Cleanser works.

Most side effects of Acnacalm Gentle Cleanser are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
For external use only. Wet face, apply a small amount of cleanser, gently massage over face (avoid eyes), and rinse thoroughly with water. Use 1–2 times daily or as directed by a dermatologist.
A gentle surfactant-based cleanser lifts and removes sebum, dirt and pollutants from the skin surface. By keeping pores clean and reducing excess oil, it helps support acne care routines and maintains the skin barrier.
Avoid contact with eyes; rinse well with water if contact occurs. Discontinue and consult a doctor if severe irritation, rash or swelling develops. Use sunscreen during the day if used as part of an acne regimen. Keep out of reach of children.
No known drug interactions for topical cleanser use; if using along with prescription acne treatments (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid), irritation/dryness may increase.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep the cap tightly closed; do not freeze.
