Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness

Levosalbutamol is a selective beta-2 adrenergic agonist. It relaxes bronchial smooth muscles and widens the airways, improving airflow and easing breathing.

For inhalation use only with a compatible DPI device (as advised). Place one capsule in the device, pierce as per device instructions and inhale the full dose deeply; do not swallow the capsule. Use at the same time each day or as prescribed; if using other inhalers, follow the sequence advised by the doctor.

Tremor, headache, palpitations, nervousness, throat irritation, cough, dizziness, nausea, muscle cramps, rapid heartbeat

Not for acute severe asthma attack unless specifically prescribed as a reliever; seek urgent care if symptoms worsen or need increases. Use with caution in heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmias, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizure disorders and in patients sensitive to sympathomimetics. May cause hypokalemia; caution if on diuretics or steroids. Overuse can lead to reduced control and serious cardiovascular effects.

Beta-blockers (may reduce effect), other sympathomimetics, MAO inhibitors/TCAs (increase cardiovascular effects), diuretics and corticosteroids (increase risk of low potassium), theophylline (additive stimulation), digoxin (may reduce digoxin levels)

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from moisture and direct light. Keep capsules in blister until use. Keep out of reach of children.
