Antispasmin DS Tablet

Antispasmin Ds Tablet contains Drotaverine (80mg) and is used for pain relief. Prescription required.

Pain relief

Antispasmin DS 80mg Tablet is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Antispasmin DS 80mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Severe abdominal pain, particularly with fever or vomiting, needs a doctor rather than a painkiller or antispasmodic. May cause blurred vision and drowsiness — do not drive until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or difficulty passing urine.

Adds to the dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness caused by antihistamines and some antidepressants.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
