Used to treat bacterial infections of the eye such as conjunctivitis/blepharitis and other susceptible ocular infections.
It contains an antibiotic that kills bacteria by interfering with essential bacterial processes, helping clear the infection and reduce discharge, redness and irritation. It works only against bacterial (not viral/allergic) eye conditions.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as advised by the doctor, usually 2–3 times daily. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip, and keep the eye closed for 1–2 minutes after instillation. If using other eye medicines, keep a 5–10 minute gap.
Burning/stinging, eye irritation, redness, watery eyes, blurred vision, itching, foreign body sensation
Use only under medical advice. Do not use if allergic to the ingredients. Avoid wearing contact lenses during active eye infection unless advised. If symptoms worsen, severe pain, vision changes, swelling, rash, or no improvement within 48–72 hours, consult a doctor. Prolonged use may lead to secondary infection/resistance. Use caution in children/pregnancy/breastfeeding—doctor’s advice recommended.
Other topical eye medicines (separate by 5–10 minutes). No significant systemic drug interactions expected with ophthalmic use.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Discard within 4 weeks of opening or as per label.
