Treatment of acne (mild to moderate) including pimples, blackheads and whiteheads; may also help reduce post-acne marks and redness.

Azelaic acid has antibacterial action against acne-causing bacteria and helps normalize keratinization to prevent blocked pores. It also reduces inflammation and can decrease abnormal pigmentation, improving skin tone over time.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin (usually once or twice daily as advised). Avoid eyes, lips, inside nose and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after application. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency or stop and consult a doctor.

Burning or stinging, itching, redness, dryness, peeling, irritation

External use only. Do not apply on cuts, wounds, eczema or severely inflamed skin. Avoid contact with eyes/mucosa; rinse with plenty of water if contact occurs. Start with once daily if sensitive skin; use sunscreen as acne treatments may increase sensitivity/irritation. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, rash or allergic reaction occurs.

No major clinically significant interactions expected with topical azelaic acid; avoid using multiple irritating topical agents (e.g., strong exfoliants, alcohol-based products, other acne medicines) together unless advised by a doctor.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep tube tightly closed and protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
