Before you take it
Bactoclav 375 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Bactoclav 375 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Monograph
Bactoclav-375 contains Potassium Clavulanate (125mg) + Amoxycillin (250mg) and is used for bactoclav 375 Tablet is used. Prescription required.
Bactoclav 375 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Bactoclav 375 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bactoclav 375 Tablet is to be taken with food.<br>This will help to avoid stomach upset.
Vomiting Nausea Diarrhea
Use with caution in patients with a history of penicillin allergy, liver disease, or renal impairment. Discontinue use if severe allergic reactions occur.
May interact with allopurinol, probenecid, and anticoagulants.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C) in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture.
