Prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis/osteopenia, adjunct in fracture healing, supportive therapy in pregnancy/lactation when prescribed

Calcium carbonate provides elemental calcium needed for bone mineralization and normal nerve and muscle function. Vitamin D3 increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate and helps maintain normal bone strength.

Tablet for oral use. Take as advised by doctor; commonly taken once or twice daily after food. Swallow with water; avoid taking together with iron/thyroid medicine/antibiotics—keep a gap of 2–4 hours.

Constipation,gas/bloating,abdominal discomfort,nausea,vomiting

Use with caution in kidney disease, history of kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous disease. Excess use may cause hypercalcemia (symptoms: nausea, vomiting, confusion, excessive thirst/urination). Do not exceed prescribed dose; ensure adequate hydration.

Levothyroxine (reduced absorption),tetracyclines (reduced absorption),fluoroquinolones (reduced absorption),bisphosphonates (reduced absorption),iron salts (reduced absorption),thiazide diuretics (increased hypercalcemia risk),digoxin (arrhythmia risk with high calcium)

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.
