Urea 10% w/v topical solution

Dry, rough and scaly skin (xerosis), moisturising for ichthyosis and other hyperkeratotic conditions; helps soften thickened skin and relieve flaking/itch due to dryness

Urea is a humectant and mild keratolytic. It draws and binds water in the outer skin layer and helps loosen and shed dry/scaly skin, improving softness and hydration.

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected area 1-2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken/irritated skin unless advised. Wash hands after use.

Mild burning or stinging, redness, itching, irritation, dryness, peeling

Do not use on deep cuts, severely inflamed or infected skin unless advised by a clinician. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; rinse with plenty of water if contact occurs. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or allergic rash occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

No significant drug interactions expected with topical urea; avoid concurrent use with other strong irritant/peeling agents on the same area unless advised.

Store below 25°C, away from heat and direct light. Keep container tightly closed. Do not freeze.
