Clotrimazole 1% w/v lotion

Treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), cutaneous candidiasis, pityriasis (tinea) versicolor; helps relieve associated itching, redness and scaling.

Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes. This increases membrane permeability and causes leakage of cell contents, leading to fungal cell death or growth inhibition.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer of lotion to the affected skin 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Continue for the full prescribed duration (often 2–4 weeks) and for a few days after symptoms improve to prevent recurrence. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin; wash hands after use.

For external use only. Do not apply to eyes, inside mouth/vagina, or on large areas of broken/oozing skin unless advised. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling, blistering, or allergy occurs, or if no improvement after 2 weeks (or worsening). Use with caution in young children; consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

No significant interactions expected with topical use; avoid using other topical products (steroids/irritants/strong soaps) on the same area unless advised as they may increase irritation or reduce efficacy.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from heat and direct light. Keep the container tightly closed.
