Candid-V Gel is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br/>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Candid-V Gel is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Candid-V Gel is used in the treatment of fungal infections of vagina.
Candid-V Gel is an antifungal medication which treats vaginal infections. It works by killing the fungi inside the vaginal tract by destroying their cell membrane. This reduces burning, itching, and discharge that may occur in with these infections.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying.
