Carel Solution 60 ml contains Coal Tar (4.25% w/w) + Salicylic Acid (2% w/w) and is used for psoriasis.

Psoriasis

Carel Solution consists of two medicines: coal tar and salicylic acid, both work together to treat psoriasis by addressing the underlying causes. Coal tar decreases skin cells' rapid proliferation, decreasing scaling and inflammation in psoriatic plaques. Salicylic acid plays a supporting role in the process by softening and dissolving the thick, scaly patches and enhancing skin texture. Combined, these agents can help lower the psoriasis symptoms, promote softer skin, and allow the skin’s natural repair process.

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Topical minoxidil causes a burst of shedding in the first two to eight weeks. This is the old hair making way for new — it is expected, not a failure. Results take three to six months, and stop when you stop. This is a continuing treatment, not a cure. Finasteride must not be handled or taken by anyone who is pregnant or could become pregnant — it causes birth defects. Do not let a pregnant person handle broken or crushed tablets. Apply topical treatments to a dry scalp, not to hair, and wash your hands afterwards. Tell your doctor about any chest pain, dizziness, rapid heartbeat or sudden weight gain with minoxidil. Acne often looks worse for the first two to four weeks before it improves. This is expected — do not stop. Use sunscreen every day. These medicines make the skin burn much more easily. Oral isotretinoin must never be taken in pregnancy — it causes severe birth defects. Reliable contraception and the pregnancy tests your dermatologist requires are essential before, during and after the course. Start with alternate nights and build up, and do not use more than a pea-sized amount for the whole face. Do not combine several strong acne actives at once without advice — the irritation compounds.

Avoid applying other scalp products at the same time of day unless advised. Do not combine with other peeling agents or with waxing and harsh scrubs. Oral retinoids must not be combined with tetracycline antibiotics.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
