Chymopure Tablet

Chymopure Tablet contains Trypsin Chymotrypsin (40mg). Prescription required.

Relief of pain and swelling (edema) after surgery or injury; adjunct in inflammatory conditions as advised by a doctor.

This product is commonly marketed as a proteolytic enzyme anti-inflammatory that helps break down inflammatory proteins and reduces swelling. It may also improve microcirculation to aid healing.

Take as directed by your physician. Generally taken by mouth with water; many proteolytic enzyme tablets are advised to be taken on an empty stomach (e.g., 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals) unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, bloating, allergic rash

Use with caution if you have a bleeding disorder, active ulcers, severe liver/kidney disease, or are scheduled for surgery. Stop and seek medical help if signs of allergy (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty) occur. Not a substitute for antibiotics when infection is present. Use in children only on medical advice.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, heparin, aspirin, clopidogrel), NSAIDs (may increase bleeding risk), other fibrinolytics
