Gel
Fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), cutaneous candidiasis; may also be used for pityriasis (tinea) versicolor depending on formulation.
Likely an imidazole antifungal gel. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to increased membrane permeability and fungal cell death.
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin 1–2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Continue use for the full prescribed duration even if symptoms improve; wash hands after application.
Burning, stinging, itching, redness, dryness, irritation, rash
Do not apply to eyes, mouth, nose or broken skin unless advised. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, blistering or allergy occurs. If no improvement after 2 weeks (or worsening), consult a doctor. Use cautiously in children and on large areas; avoid occlusive dressings unless advised.
No major systemic drug interactions expected with topical antifungals; avoid using multiple irritating topical products on the same area unless prescribed.
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
