Adjunct treatment for dandruff and scaly, itchy scalp conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis.

Coal tar reduces excessive skin cell proliferation and helps soften and shed scales. It also has antipruritic (anti-itch) and mild anti-inflammatory effects, improving flaking and irritation.

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to affected scalp/skin as directed by a physician; typically 1–2 times daily or as advised. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; wash hands after use.

Skin irritation, burning or stinging, redness, dryness, itching, folliculitis, photosensitivity, rash

Do not use on broken/infected skin unless advised by a doctor. May increase sensitivity to sunlight—avoid excessive sun exposure and use protective measures. Discontinue and seek medical advice if severe irritation, allergy, blistering or worsening occurs. Avoid use in children or during pregnancy/breastfeeding unless prescribed. Coal tar products can stain skin/clothes and may have a strong odor.

Concurrent use with other topical irritants/keratolytics (e.g., salicylic acid, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide) may increase irritation; avoid applying with other medicated topicals on the same area unless advised.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
