Symptomatic relief of cough and cold (dry or productive), throat irritation, chest congestion (depending on formulation).

Cough syrups usually combine one or more agents such as an antitussive to suppress cough, an expectorant/mucolytic to loosen mucus, and an antihistamine/decongestant to reduce allergy symptoms and nasal congestion. The exact mechanism depends on the active ingredients in the specific COFDOFF Syrup formulation.

Shake well before use. Measure dose with a calibrated cup/spoon and take as advised by a doctor. Can be taken with or without food; take after food if stomach upset occurs. Do not exceed recommended dose and avoid using multiple cough/cold products together unless advised.

Exact warnings depend on ingredients. Many cough syrups can cause drowsiness—avoid driving/operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in children, elderly, pregnancy/breastfeeding, asthma/COPD, liver or kidney disease, thyroid disease, hypertension, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, and in patients taking sedatives. Do not use for prolonged cough (>7 days), recurrent fever, or cough with blood/shortness of breath; seek medical advice. Do not exceed dose; keep out of reach of children.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased sedation), MAO inhibitors/antidepressants (some antihistamines/decongestants), antihypertensives (decongestants may raise BP), other cough/cold products containing similar ingredients (risk of overdose).

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze.
