Syrup

Relief of productive (wet) cough with chest congestion; used in bronchitis, tracheobronchitis and other respiratory tract conditions with thick mucus and wheeze.

Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to ease wheezing and improve airflow. Ambroxol thins and loosens thick mucus, while guaiphenesin helps expel mucus by increasing and reducing the viscosity of respiratory secretions, making coughing more productive.

Oral syrup (junior). Shake well before use and measure with a dosing cup/spoon. Take as directed by the doctor, usually after food; maintain adequate fluid intake. Do not exceed the prescribed dose; duration depends on symptoms.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, tremor, palpitations, nervousness, throat irritation, rash

Use with caution in heart disease/arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizure disorders, and in patients with gastric ulcer. May cause tremor, palpitations or dizziness—use caution with activities requiring alertness. Seek medical help if breathing worsens, severe rash/allergy occurs, or cough persists beyond a few days or is accompanied by high fever. Not recommended for self-medication in very young children without medical advice.

Beta-blockers (may reduce bronchodilator effect), other sympathomimetics, MAO inhibitors/tricyclic antidepressants (may increase cardiovascular effects), diuretics/corticosteroids (risk of hypokalemia), digoxin (arrhythmia risk with low potassium), antitussives like codeine/dextromethorphan (may hinder mucus clearance)

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
