Relief of cough and cold symptoms such as cough, throat irritation and chest congestion (exact indication depends on formulation).

Crantop Syrup is a branded cough/cold preparation; its action depends on the active ingredients present. Typical cough syrups may reduce cough reflex (antitussive), loosen mucus (expectorant/mucolytic) and ease throat irritation.

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a measuring cup/spoon and take as advised by a doctor. Can be taken with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, take after food. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, dry mouth

Exact precautions depend on the ingredients. Use with caution in children, elderly, liver/kidney disease, asthma/COPD, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, prostate enlargement, and diabetes (some syrups contain sugar). May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery. Do not use with other cough/cold products containing similar ingredients. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond 3–5 days, fever develops, or breathing difficulty occurs.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased drowsiness), sedatives/antihistamines (additive effects), MAO inhibitors and some antidepressants (potential serious interactions depending on ingredients)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
