Cypon Drops

Cypon Drops contains Cyproheptadine (2mg/5ml) + Tricholine Citrate (275mg/5ml) + Sorbitol (2gm/5ml).

Appetite stimulant; used for loss of appetite, underweight, poor weight gain (often in children) and as supportive therapy in nutritional deficiencies.

Cyproheptadine is an antihistamine with antiserotonergic activity that can increase appetite. It may also reduce allergy symptoms like runny nose and itching.

Use only as prescribed by a pediatrician/doctor. Measure with a calibrated dropper; may be taken with or without food; if it causes stomach upset, give after food. Avoid driving/activities needing alertness if drowsy.

Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, nausea, increased appetite, weight gain

May cause marked sleepiness; avoid combining with other sedatives unless advised. Use with caution in glaucoma, asthma/COPD, urinary retention/prostate enlargement, liver disease. Not recommended for self-medication in very young children; follow age-appropriate dosing strictly. Seek help for severe allergy, breathing difficulty, or unusual excitement/irritability in children.

Alcohol, benzodiazepines and other CNS depressants (increased sedation), MAO inhibitors (enhanced anticholinergic effects), other antihistamines, anticholinergic medicines, opioids

Store below 25°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
