Symptomatic relief of cough associated with common cold/upper respiratory tract infections, throat irritation and congestion (as per doctor’s advice; exact indication depends on formulation).

DC-TUS Syrup is a cough/cold preparation. Depending on its ingredients, it may suppress the cough reflex (antitussive), thin/loosen mucus (mucolytic/expectorant) and/or reduce nasal congestion (decongestant) to ease breathing and cough.

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a cup/spoon. Take as prescribed by a doctor; may be taken with or without food. Do not exceed recommended dose; avoid combining with other cough/cold medicines unless advised.

Formulation/strengths not available—check label before use. Use with caution in children, elderly, pregnancy/breastfeeding, liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, enlarged prostate/urinary retention, thyroid disease, hypertension or heart disease. May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Seek medical advice if cough persists >7 days, is recurrent, or is accompanied by fever, rash, wheezing, breathlessness, chest pain, or blood in sputum.

May interact with alcohol and other CNS depressants (sedatives, antihistamines, opioids), MAO inhibitors/antidepressants, antihypertensives, anticholinergics and other cough/cold combinations (depends on exact ingredients).

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
