This medicine is used in the treatment of acidity, acid reflux, stomach ulcer, heartburn, bacterial infection, chest infection, throat infection, skin infection and urinary infection.

Esobiz HP Kit is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clarithromycin and Esomeprazole, which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the bacteria. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clarithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (ppi) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Esobiz HP Kit is to be taken empty stomach.

Take it on an empty stomach, about half an hour to an hour before your first meal — this is when the acid pumps are most active and the medicine works best. Long-term use has been linked to low magnesium and low vitamin B12, and to a higher risk of bone fracture. Review the need with your doctor rather than continuing indefinitely. Tell your doctor if acidity comes with difficulty swallowing, vomiting, weight loss, or black stools — these need investigation, not a longer course.
