Gaviscon Double Action Mint Suspension is used for heartburn, acid reflux (GERD), indigestion, sour stomach, regurgitation after meals.

Sodium alginate reacts with gastric acid to form a viscous gel "raft" that floats on stomach contents and reduces reflux into the esophagus. Calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate neutralize excess acid and provide symptomatic relief.

Shake well before use. Take after meals and at bedtime as directed on the label or by a doctor. Measure with a dosing cup/spoon; can be taken with or without water.

Bloating, belching, nausea, constipation, diarrhea (rare), chalky taste

Use with caution if on a sodium-restricted diet, kidney disease, or hypercalcemia. Do not exceed recommended dose. If symptoms persist beyond 7-14 days, consult a doctor. Keep gap from other oral medicines to avoid reduced absorption.

May reduce absorption of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron salts, levothyroxine, bisphosphonates; separate by at least 2 hours (or as advised).

Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep cap tightly closed and protect from direct sunlight.
