Vapourised pyrethroid insecticide acts on mosquito voltage-gated sodium channels, causing prolonged channel opening, repetitive firing, paralysis and knockdown.

Fit the refill into the machine, keep upright, plug into 220–240V socket and switch on; use in a closed room for 30 minutes before sleep, then keep a window slightly open for ventilation; one refill typically used nightly until empty; unplug when not required.

Common: mild throat/eye irritation, headache, sneezing in sensitive individuals; Serious: breathing difficulty/bronchospasm, allergic rash or swelling.
