Herpex 800 DT Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Herpex 800 DT Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Antivirals work best when started early — within the first day or two of symptoms for most infections. Complete the course exactly as prescribed; stopping early can allow the virus to become resistant. Drink plenty of water, particularly with aciclovir and its relatives. Treatment for chronic hepatitis must never be stopped without your specialist's advice.

Several antivirals interact with other medicines — tell your doctor everything you take, including supplements.
