Relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and post-operative pain (as prescribed).

Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin formation. This lowers pain, swelling, and inflammation and helps reduce fever.

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, preferably with food or after meals to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Acidity/heartburn, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, rash

NSAID: may cause stomach ulcer/bleeding (risk higher in elderly, with alcohol, steroids, anticoagulants, prior ulcer). Use with caution in asthma, hypertension, heart disease, kidney or liver impairment. May increase risk of cardiovascular events with long-term/high-dose use. Stop and seek care for black stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, swelling, breathing difficulty, or allergic rash. Avoid use in active peptic ulcer/bleeding and severe heart/kidney/liver failure unless advised by a doctor.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel), other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, SSRIs/SNRIs, antihypertensives (ACE inhibitors/ARBs, diuretics), lithium, methotrexate, cyclosporine/tacrolimus, digoxin

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
