Zinc oxide adhesive plaster (non-medicated) - composition varies by manufacturer
Securing dressings and bandages, providing support/compression for minor sprains/strains, taping for sports and immobilization, protecting small cuts/blisters as a protective covering
This is a pressure-sensitive adhesive fabric tape/plaster that sticks to skin to hold gauze/dressings or provide supportive strapping. It offers mechanical support and helps keep the covered area protected from friction and contamination.
Clean and dry the skin. Cut required length and apply without excessive stretch; press firmly to ensure adhesion. For dressing fixation, place gauze first and tape over edges. Remove gently; if painful, soften with warm water or oil. External use only.
Skin irritation, redness, itching, rash, contact dermatitis, pain on removal, skin maceration if applied too tightly or for prolonged periods
Do not apply on broken/infected skin unless used only to secure a sterile dressing. Stop use if severe irritation, blistering, swelling or allergy occurs. Avoid wrapping too tightly (may impair circulation); watch for numbness, tingling, discoloration. Use caution in sensitive skin, eczema, or known adhesive/latex allergy. Keep out of reach of children.
No known drug interactions (topical non-medicated adhesive); may reduce adherence if used with oily lotions/ointments on skin
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep roll in original pack; do not expose to excessive heat.
