Migranex 5

Migranex 5 contains Flunarizine (5mg). Prescription required.

Migranex 5 Tablet is used for preventive treatment of migraine.

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Migranex 5 Tablet works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Migranex 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Do not stop this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor. This medicine causes drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you. Report any change in mood, sleep or behaviour.

Alcohol and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
