Use a new condom for every act of intercourse. Check expiry date and integrity of pack, open carefully to avoid tearing. Put on the erect penis before any genital contact, pinch the tip to leave space, roll down fully. Use only water-based lubricant if needed; avoid oil-based products. After ejaculation, hold the rim and withdraw while still erect; dispose in a bin (do not flush).

Do not use if allergic to latex (choose non-latex alternatives). Do not use if pack is damaged, condom is brittle/sticky, or expired. Avoid oil-based lubricants (e.g., petroleum jelly, baby oil) as they can weaken latex. Stop use and seek medical advice if persistent irritation or suspected allergy occurs. No contraceptive method is 100% effective; correct and consistent use is essential.
